My recent trip to Mexico was truly remarkable, and I returned with some amazing souvenirs. My primary purpose for being in Oaxaca was to find the unique handmade crafts that it's well-known for, and everything exceeded expectations.
If you followed my travel journey on Instagram and Facebook, you may have seen some of the artistry I encountered. Now is your chance to gain access to the amazing textiles I found while abroad. By owning one of my treasured finds, you too can join me in reliving the journey I had!
This unique piece, as well as some other treasures, are available now on our website and in person in our Studio.

This is a beautiful Mexican handmade cotton Tunic Dress that I have brought back with me. It is a traditional long Tunic style, but minimalistic and chic so can be style modern for everyday wear. Great for wearing in the warmer summer months but also so nice to layer with leggings and a jacket in the cooler months.
Well know in the Oaxaca area of Mexico where they are made and locally called a Huipil. Loose flowy style that is in the lightweight cotton and is very breathable. It also features a stunning cut-away applique finish that creates this diamond shape down the front and back. Same cut front and back so if you spill something on the front while you're out you can just reverse it lol. Also featuring a beautiful V-Neck that is so pretty on.
This Tunic Dress is slightly sheer, totally fine for just wearing a bra under or leggings but on it's own your underwear can show through in the light so you could wear more of a shorts/underwear style. Or perfect as a beach/pool cover-up for summer or a fabulous vacation.
*This one is a gorgeous soft pale blue and is the only one. It is one size so please see measurement chart. There is no stretch to this fabric and it is lightweight and delicate so it is recommended to give some room in the measurements. For example it is a 57" hip but would probably fit a persons hip that is up to a 55" or so. It is shown here on various models with Kathleen (The Mama) wearing it who has hips of 55".

Care
Care
Wash by hand in cold water with mild soap or detergent.
*The scarves especially need to be handwashed because of the delicate weave and the fringe. Scarves are worn over top other garments so do not need to be washed regularly. If stained you can also try just spot cleaning.
*A great sustianable trick to refresh clothing is to put it in a bag in your freezer, rather washing.
*If anything gets creased, steam is always best and using the trick to hang up in the washroom when you have a steamy shower always works, especially if traveling!
